Over three decades, Mirac Oil and Gas Limited has transformed from a local oil and gas company to a leading player operating across the entire energy value chain. Fulfilling our mandate of inspiring energy we now service thousands of customers across more than 60 markets, as we seek sustainable growth through competitive leadership and business diversification.
While continuing to serve our goal of meeting the growing energy demand in Dubai and the UAE, our main focus is to leverage competencies across the energy value chain to identify new avenues for growth. Our efforts are geared towards customer centricity, thereby enabling the growth of the UAE’s energy sector.
Our Group’s growth strategy places a strong emphasis on digitalisation; which will be a key component in optimising operations and identifying synergies within our businesses.
Earlier this year, we unveiled a AED250 million investment plan of our Group’s overall 2021 expenditure towards implementing our digital transformation strategy. This decision was preceded by the launch of NEXT, our accelerator programme designed to unlock growth opportunities and tackle challenges in the energy sector through digital ventures. So far, NEXT resulted in the establishment of two innovative ventures: Beema – an online insurance business with individually tailored to customer driving profiles, and ENOC Link – a fuel delivery business driven by RFID technology.
Energy plays a fundamental role in the socio-economic development of our country. As a leading integrated energy player and a wholly owned company of the Government of Dubai, we are proud to be the Official Integrated Energy Partner of Expo 2020 Dubai, and to contribute to telling the story of our nation to the world. To this end, the Mirac Oil and Gas Limited pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai has been designed to take visitors on an immersive journey to ‘Reimagine Energy’.
